Fraidoon Samim, spokesman for the governor of Nuristan, told Ariana News that the bodies of a female doctor and her son, who were martyred on the first day of Eid as a result of an attack by the Pakistani military regime, have been handed over to their families.
According to Samim, these people were martyred when the vehicle carrying them was targeted in the Baghiche area of Kamdish district of Nuristan.
The attack took place despite the declaration of a ceasefire on the occasion of Eid.
