I told myself, oh I 'll just a read a little of this at a time, and oops, got sucked in. And man, this is so harrowing.

I knew that they didn't kill off Arturo, half figuring they wouldn't sever a plotline for no reason and half my own hope, and, uh, monkey paw fucking curled on that one. Nothing really got to me in Echo outside of heeby-jeebies, but following the perspective of someone with a bullet in their brain slowly dying is a hell of a lot.
Cameron just doing newtype stuff in the middle of all this is a much needed counterbalance, it's so funny. Oh, Devon, I can see time itself.
