The #IntelArc B580 12GB is the card to beat, period.
I see Intel selling these cards like hotcakes. I don't think the "Buy NVIDIA" mindset exists at its price of $249 when there is no RTX at that price point.

Given all the hype around #Intel #ArcB580 would have made me very curious, if not for my experience in the past couple of days.
CUDA is just too entrenched, and without a straightforward migration path, adoption for non-game ("productive") use-cases like accelerating computation is going to be hard.
IMHO Intel should hire the Zluda developer to reintroduce Intel backend to the project, for near-zero cost migration.
