1892 wurde J. R. R. Tolkien in Bloemfontein im Oranje-Freistaat, heute #Südafrika, geboren. Er starb am 02.09.1973 in Bournemouth, #England. Sei berühmtestes Werk ist „Der Herr der Ringe“ [1],[2]. Morgen wird #arte einen interessanten Film über Tolkiens Sprachuniversum zeigen: „Herr der Worte, Herr der Welten“ [3].

Der alte Name für den Januar-Vollmond ist #Hartung oder #Eismond. Hartung leitet sich von der hart gefrorenen Erde im #Januar ab. Wolf Moon, #Wolfsmond, ist der „indianische“ Name der Algonkin.
