The botanical garden in Leiden is a great place for plant lovers! I visit it regularly. One of the highlights for me is the collection of penisplants / corpse plants.

The first image shows two Amorphophallus Gigas in bloom at the garden in 2023. A flowering penis plant always attracts a lot of attention. The second picture is a screenshot of a timelapse when the Amorphophallus Titanum bloomed in 2022. In the screenshot you see me with my daughter on my shoulders and my son in the baby carrier. My wife is waiting for me with the stroller under a large leaf of a Leucocasia Gigantea 'Thailand Giant' - she always has to wait for me when we are in the garden haha. 😅
