It was a week brimming with murals, buskers, games, and amusements on the fediverse.
Today I took Celestine on Bridgewalk, a closing of the bridge beside our home to traffic. She was thrilled to get a balloon dog, a bridge passport, freezies, and snacks. Events like these are hopeful little glimpses of what would be possible if we exorcised automobiles from our city.

Monday we went to the last day of the Halifax Busker Festival. We saw parts of many performances, but the highlight was The Farmer’s Daughter, a one woman show featuring lasso, hoola hoops, milk jug walking, and comedy. She even had a trading card.

This week I played through map 3 of Aquamarine, 1000 Fathoms Deep. It was fine, but I don’t think the verticality worked as well as previous maps for snappy gameplay.

I saw Keren Ann perform 20 years ago at Halifax Jazz Fest as she toured in support of her Nolita album. That album became important to me, fitting well with the liminal point in my life when I listened to it. I’ve been revisiting the album this week and I still appreciate it so much.
