R O B I NThis weekend I watched the beautifully restored #films from Satyajit Ray’s “Apu Trilogy”. These are some of the finest movies I’ve ever seen. Such a wonderful restoration effort was made to the originals which were destroyed in a fire in 1993. Strongly recommend checking these out. #movies #Criterion #PatherPanchali #Aparajito #ApurSansar
We just finished watching the #CriterionCollection edition of #SatyajitRay's 1959 film #ApurSansar.
In this third and final film in the Apu Trilogy, Apu preservers through travails and tragedy to face a hopeful future.
