Just finished #Pluribus incredibly weirdly touching series, worth time and attention and demanding attention - the first 3-4 episodes realy hocked me and Rhea Seehorn sells every minute of the unlikely main character and her performance only gets better.

The whole series or season I am not sure about it, because it looses it's mystery very quickly but never the emotional punch and convincing characters in this otherworldly situation.
So I've been watching Invasion (currently halfway through Season 02).
It's a very well executed alien invasion show. Back at season 01, before the series shifted to the whole "humans fighting back" storyline, it had this amazing scenes that hinted at what this show could've been, and I'm a bit sad it took the direction it did:
1) The moment where Aneesha's family was side-eyed from their neighbors, showing how racism can surface when people are afraid and confused. The show was intentional with this, but then always stayed at the surface, instead of going deeper.
2) When Trevante picks up the Afghani family, and the dad tells him that "all my kids have known is invasion...", This powerful sentence is delivered in a moment where there's zero antagonism between Trevante and the Afghan father.
Rambling over, but I really wish the show would've been more "The Leftovers" but with Aliens.
