I‘m sticking to my schedule, gaining kilometers every morning – and always a tiny bit more than needed, because you never know what‘s going to happen. Heavy snowfall could impair my #Running considerably, so I tend to be ahead of my plan… This morning run was a cool (2 degrees Celsius) one, but everything was dry, no snow or ice, not even up on the hills, so I was able to get a good pace (considering the fact this is my fourth or fifth 30+K run in a row). #applewatchultra3 #10000in2025 #goals
I‘m altering my route on a daily basis now, at least in small parts. That keeps me entertained and yearning for more. Also, I have to tick off somewhere around 30K every day until the end of the year to reach my 10,000 kilometers goal. There‘ll be days I simply cannot get there, so I must get in some longer runs whenever possible. That‘s what I did today. It’s just a 31K run, but it will offset one 29K run. Thick mist today, I couldn’t see anything beyond the next 5 to 10 meters. Thus the slower pace. But it was a very quiet and peaceful run with the mist drowning out all background noise. This morning run was a cool one, but I finished off another audiobook by #PierreMartin and restarted THE MARTIAN by #AndyWeir – it’s so good, I could listen to it all the time. There‘s 33 days left in this year, I‘ll split 991 kilometers over them, so there’ll be some long runs to take on. Haha! Tomorrow will be the day for crossing the 9,000 kilometers line in this year. I’m actually a little excited about this. And then I‘m in completely uncharted territory. I‘ll have to put in some effort to get to the 10,000 kilometers by the end of the year. The greatest thing about that is that I‘m really able to listen to quite a lot of great audiobooks on the way… #Running #applewatchultra3 #audiobooks
No ice today! So for most of my route, I could just run as I always do. Two or three very cold patches were also a little slippery, but I got through without slipping. On my way to 10,000 kilometers in 2025, cold and dry this morning. I loved #Running in the sunny spots, not so much in the shade 🥶. During the run, I finished another audiobook by #PierreMartin (#10 of the Isabelle Bonnet series) and dove right into its successor.
