Da ich bei einem Imker im Haus wohne, kommt im Garten auch immer mal wieder ein Honigbienchen vorbei geflogen. Das hier hat sich gerade in der Sonne ein bisschen ausgeruht, bevor es wieder fleißig Honig gesammelt hat.

Mit etwas schwerem Herz hab ich heute ein schwaches Bienenvolk aufgelöst.

Es hat mir zwar zwei Schwärme geschenkt, dabei aber selber zu viel Kraft gelassen. Hinzu kamen jetzt die Wespen, denen sie nichts mehr entgegensetzen konnten.

Ich habe noch etwas Honig ernten können und dieses bunte Pollenbrett entdeckt.

Für mich spiegelt sich darin die Vielfalt unserer Tracht wieder. Und Vielfalt auf dem Speiseplan der Bienen ist bestimmt auch für sie gesund.

I found a puddle that was frequented by honey bees the other day. It was a hot day after all. I tried to take photos of the bees while they were drinking water, and I guess this is my favorite. An ant snuck up on the bee. It was looking for a fight, but the bee just kicked it away.
