so you might have noticed some new formatting of my album of the day posts.
i just want to say first off that im surprised ive been doing this gimmick for just about three years now. i never expected to be doing this for this long. i started doing so as a means to actually sit down and listen to new music. i also primarily listen to full albums, hence why i do "album of the day" over song of the day
honestly ive done a beyond poor job of keeping track of what has becone aotd. with nosearch put on my pfp im unsure what has or hasnt made aotd. at best i make a mental note of it, but memories are hazy. i also definately had a few albums become aotd twice because of this (discovery was probably one of these)
@erin gave me some constructive feedback saying i should do something to keep track and i started using the #aotd hashtag as a stopgap. also a couple ppl on mastodon seemed to convergently come up with this same gimmick, but ive been doing it longer.
i really should use something like lastfm but i only really listen to full albums

A late day post for a late discovered band. Not sure how I’ve missed Fair to Midland all this time but they’ve been on heavy rotation since I found them last week.
