My Third, and probably my final Quansheng UV-K5 - this one is the K5(99) sometimes called the UV-K6.
The difference between it and my other two, different case (a little slash of color)! And a different firmware that already has the radio opened up for 20 - 1000 Mhz.
Personally I think my original Anysecu UV-K5 works a lot better. But all three has the same FCCID number, which to me means they are all the same inside.

Anyone else notice some weird things happening when you use DCS on the Anysecu UV-K5?
It seems to work when there isn't a lot of RF around, but was completely useless at the Hamvention. The only thing I can think of is RF messing with it. #Anysecu #UVK5 #HamRadio

Picked up a $30.00 Anysecu UV-K5 it arrived from China a whole 5 or 6 days ahead of time.....
And it's both better, and worse then I thought it would be.
With some interesting features, like NOAA channels, and airband - And only a few dollars more then a UV-5R - this could be the new beginner radio to give to new hams. #baofeng #UV5R #UVK5 #Anysecu #hamradio #ham #radio
