I didn't listen all the way through "Just One Thing" this morning so I didn't hear as to whether there was a warning that turmeric is a blood thinner and will conflict with other blood thinners and affect the INR.

So a curry is fine but continuous doses not if you're also taking Warfarin, Clopidogrel, etc, or even aspirin.

A study looked at giving #anticoagulants for hospitalized #COVID patients who developed pulmonary embolisms. Long-term anticoagulant treatment up to 3 months after leaving the hospital seemed the help. Treatment longer than 3 months did not make more of a difference.

Could logging and clear cutting make the Powerful Owl extinct?

Northern spotted owls are functionally extinct in the US
"Clear-cutting in Clatsop County, Oregon, the habitat of the northern spotted owl. The woes of the northern spotted owl began with widespread logging last century in Oregon and California which has since wiped out swathes of old-growth forest, the bird’s natural habitat. Today, a mere 15% of the original habitat of the northern spotted owl remains, with the result that there has been a devastating drop in numbers of the species."
