Massachusetts, officially the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, is a state in the New England region of the Northeastern United States. Northampton is one of the largest towns in England; the population of its overall urban area was recorded as 249,093 in the 2021 census. The parish of Northampton alone had 137,387.
