I watched this documentary about the Hong Kong film director Ann Hui yesterday. It's brilliant.
As the article points out, it's also the story of Hong Kong and its film industry.
What a fascinating person she is though. So restless, so honest.
The documentary is included as an extra on the blu-ray of her 1982 movie 'Boat People' about the aftermath of the Vietnam War.
