So far this anime season is very fantasy and isekai frontloaded, but it looks like there's more shows from other genres coming soon...

*The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic* was surprisingly refreshing. Almost everyone was friendly even though we're trained to expect the stuff like the Evil Student Council trope or the Evil King trope. It feels like a parody where everyone is playing it straight and earnest.

Revisited some of #MsVampireWhoLivesInMyNeighborhood ( #TonariNoKyuuketsukisan ) tonight.

It's cute and heartwarming, but I was specifically reminded of the aspect of the backdrop that Sophie really is a fish out of water amongst humans, and it's particularly heartwarming how she's able to enjoy a sense of social belonging thanks to her being a nice person and others around her being accepting of her.
