Despite all that's currently going on I'm still looking very much forward to my trip to Edmonton, AB 🇨🇦 for #AnimeThon 2025! and also for attending the Edmonton Stingers home game at Edmonton Expo Centre! Should be fun, riding Edmonton ETS!

I'll need to refresh my memory about the ins and outs of Edmonton 🇨🇦 travel once #Animethon updates their website with the new address dates....it has already been announced and they're findable, but I'm holding off booking flights until they actually update the main website. Expedia is aware I'm interested in going there so they remind me from time to time now.

Spent the last 15 minutes scoping out various BBQ restaurants in Edmonton, AB 🇨🇦 whose doors I'll probably never darken but might visit during #Animethon in 2025....?

Looking at the Facebook group for #Animethon in Edmonton, AB 🇨🇦 and it looks like a really warm & welcoming community. Lots more people making posts after the event than the social group for #AniRevo which definitely feels more impersonal and individualistic.

So looking ahead to 2025's anime convention scene there's #AnimeThon in 🇨🇦 Edmonton, AB of course but instead of SakuraCon or MomoCon in early Spring, I'm thinking I should shoot for the Anime Fest in Denver, Colorado in March of 2025. I've never been to Denver and I know their rail system is well connected between the Denver Airport and downtown, something I'd like to get to experience. It's a convention that's been going strong since 2016.

I am kinda bummed that #AniRevo and #AnimeThon had to be on the same weekend next year. C'mon, Canada, don't make me have to choose like that, ugh. Vancouver wins, of course....sorry Edmonton, will see you in 2025.
