Sincere question:

for whom and when/ where do you think it is appropriate and effective to show images/videos of harm being done to animals?

For those of us who are already #vegan for ethical reasons, do we still need to see these? I personally find it very painful, and I'm not a contributor - I do not buy or eat meat or fish or milk or eggs, etc.

Is it just those who haven't yet adopted #veganism who need to see these?

Would love your thoughts on strategy. We can compare this to showing the videos of someone being killed at the hands of police, etc. - and why we wouldn't unnecessarily circulate that. Is it comparable?

What is more effective?

#Christmas is coming. We’re already dressing up #pets. That is pathetic. This is the season for the crass #vanity. It is only due to the suspected Mastodon protocol for not being beastly (not like on nasty twitter) that for the moment I’m keeping this general. #Animaldignity #animals and their #dignity. Get #dolls ans #teddies if like dressing other things up. Of dress yourselves up. Weird twats. Dolls don’t mind. Pets are utterly bewildered.
