I just found another bug related to animations not stopping, when you pause the game.
Axe Brigands don't stop their attack animation, when you pause the game.
That means, if you pause the game quickly enough, you can just wait for the attack to be over.
Since the game is paused, you don't take damage, even if the attack hits you.
I'm sure you can make use of this in Han-Tani's Challenge.
Probably in Brigands Keep 2.
If you use the longjump skips to avoid hardened hills and only visit Hardened Hills after Caitlin is already dead, she won't be at the and of hardened hills.
So this skip saves you 40 coins. π
I also find interesting, that you can reach the other side of the first GunnadΓ³ir arena, without a tactical cube, with a longjump.
Same goes for the secret area in Forsaken Grounds, which can also be reached with a longjump (useful for han-tani's challenge).
I've just watched an Angeline Era speedrun and it's ridiculous.
I like interesting skips in speedruns, but Angeline Era speedrunning is basically skipping almost the entire game by glitching yourself almost to the end, which I find really disappointing.
At least longjump skips seem to be intended by the devs and don't ruin the game.
So far, I've only tried how quickly I could get through the game without much planning and just from memory and it took me about 3h15.
I'm currently testing, how easy it is to get through the game without a gun, without using any items/artifacts and on level 1 (only on normal mode).
The last level I did was The Lost Hoard and if you know the level, which enemies to defeat and are luring the brigands to the walls for crits, it's possible.
I felt like I didn't even play particularly good on the last try, needlessly got hit and it still barely worked out.

Wait, this game has guns?
I thouht this was a sword fighting game!/j
(Currently experimenting with long jumps to see how much of the game you can skip.)
I just found a really funny and on highest difficulty really helpful bug in Angeline Era.
Sometimes objects keep moving, when you pause the game, usually in place.
But the slider in der GunnadΓ³ir fights keeps momentum when pausing the game, so it moves further.
In case anyone wondered, you can get there, but there is nothing to find.
Both reachable with long jumps.
I honestly didn't learn about long jumps until recently, but I also didn't find out how to go out of bounds in Anodyne 2 on my own.
(So far my Melos count is at 2 and my Melon count is at 1, but I assume there is only one Melon.)
My current undemanding, low energy activity to pass time is playing every level in Angeline Era again and writing down all items, enemy requirements for doors, requirements to unlock levels and so on.
Currently the document is 28 pages long and with better formatting, it would be much longer.
So I expect it to be at least 50-60 pages long, when I'm done.
