Infuria la polemica sul mancato finanziamento del docufilm sulla storia di Giulio Regeni. Il produttore Domenico Procacci dice che è “una scelta politica“. Le opposizioni di centrosinistra sono pronte alle interrogazioni al ministro della Cultura Alessandro Giuli. La commissione esaminatrice perde già pezzi, con le dimissioni di due componenti, tra i quali il decano dei critici cinematografici, Paolo Mereghetti. Chi invece può festeggiare l’ottenuto finanziamento, pari a 800mila euro, è il film Tradita, un thriller che ha come protagonista Manuela Arcuri, diretto da Gabriele Altobelli e prodotto da Mattia’s Film. Nel cast anche William Levy e Fernando Lindez, Angela Molina e la partecipazione di Monica Guerritore e Giancarlo Giannini. Il film, girato nelle Marche, è in sala dal 20 marzo.

La pellicola segue la vita di Pazienza Mantovani, soprannominata Paz, madre single e avvocata con poca fortuna, vive col figlio piccolo e la madre anziana. Quando entra a far parte dello staff dello studio legale più importante di Roma, scopre di avere sostituito una collega morta suicida. Le ragioni sono un mistero, ma quando un giornalista che si occupa di un ricco cliente dello studio legale viene ucciso, Paz collega le due morti e ingaggia una battaglia contro una potente organizzazione criminale. Arriva a dover confessare un omicidio di cui non è responsabile: finisce in carcere, esce e diventa Madame X: una mistress che odia il genere maschile e che si trasforma in una macchina da guerra. L’unico suo obiettivo è la vendetta.

Al momento Tradita non compare nelle prime 10 posizioni della vendita di biglietti al botteghino. Nel box office al 6 aprile al decimo posto si trova il film Mi batte il corazòn del comico napoletano Peppe Iodice, nelle sale dal 19 marzo.

However, those who can celebrate the secured funding of 800,000 euros is the film *Betrayed*, a thriller starring Manuela Arcuri, directed by Gabriele Altobelli and produced by Mattia’s Film. The cast also includes William Levy and Fernando Lindez, Angela Molina and the participation of Monica Guerritore and Giancarlo Giannini. The film, shot in the Marche region, is in theaters since March 20th.

The film follows the life of Pazienza Mantovani, nicknamed Paz, a single mother and lawyer with little fortune, who lives with her young son and elderly mother. When she joins the staff of Rome’s most important law firm, she discovers she has replaced a colleague who died by suicide. The reasons are a mystery, but when a journalist who covers a wealthy client of the law firm is murdered, Paz connects the two deaths and engages in a battle against a powerful criminal organization. She is forced to confess a murder for which she is not responsible: she ends up in prison, gets out and becomes Madame X: a prostitute who hates men and who transforms into a war machine. Her only objective is revenge.

Currently, *Betrayed* does not appear in the top 10 positions of box office ticket sales. At the box office as of April 6th, the film *Mi bate il corazòn* by Neapolitan comedian Peppe Iodice is in tenth place, in theaters since March 19th.

Emilio Estevez, Martin Sheen – „Dein Weg“ (2010)

Der einzige Grund für mich, diesen Film zu sehen, war die Konstellation: Martin Sheen vor der Kamera, Emilio Estevez dahinter. Vater und Sohn, die gemeinsam einen Film schaffen, so direkt und sichtbar, ist eine Seltenheit in Hollywood. Der Jakobsweg dagegen wirkte eher wie eine Zumutung. Überstrapaziert von Selbsterfahrungsberichten, überhöht von Kirchenfolklore, in Deutschland endgültig re-popularisiert durch Hape Kerkelings Bestseller. Ein Trend, der mich eher abschreckt. Zumal mir meine ziemlich katholische Kindheit ohnehin wenig Lust auf Pilgerwege hinterlassen hat. (ARD)
