I started playing through #NeonWhite, a #speedrunning game with levels designed to take less than a minute to complete. I've never played anything quite like it before. #AngelMatrix did good.

Weapons (cards) can be discarded to help traverse the levels. You end up playing the same level over and over, until you finally get a "perfect" clear.

It's very #Japanese - the narrative is all handled like a #VisualNovel, and gameplay is super tight/elegant.

I'm into it.
