If it helps, I’m a moderate phone user.
I am prone to doom scroll.
I like function over aesthetics but I’m not entirely resistant to faffing with stuff to get it working how I want.
I like a decent camera and take far too many photos but I’m generally nowhere near my 128gb capacity (though I do currently pay for 2Tb iCloud).
I hate bloatware but I’m capable of getting rid.
I’m now eligible for a phone upgrade and I'm toying with switching to #Android. I currently have an #iPhone 14.
It’d be good to hear from folks who have made the switch, especially if you’re in the UK.
What phone did you go for?
Are you happy with it?
Or if you’re a die hard Android user with opinions on the best phone.
No drama please. I’m just weighing my options.

🆕Apple wyznacza trendy. Czy Camera Control to przyszłość?

I found the answer. My #Android can connect at the reception where at least Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) is available (according to #WiFiAnalyzer https://vremsoftwaredevelopment.github.io/WiFiAnalyzer/ #kotlin #opensource). However, in the room, there's only a legacy 802.11g (Wi-Fi 3) network, which the #Apple #iPhone can connect to, likely due to better #backward #compatibility.

Got myself an #android tablet to see how it compares to my (mostly) apple devices and I have to say I really like it. There are so much cool opensource apps for all kinds of stuff and it seems like I have so much more control even without root (which my device does support).
Love playing around with it. Maybe my next phone won't be an iPhone...
