An example of Andrew's First Rule of TTRPGs before I actually coined it:

This post asking about cool dice:

led to Shiver RPG

http://shiverrpg.com

which is on my list to try this year, and which I almost certainly wouldn't have otherwise found, as its community is completely separate than the others I'm currently in.

What other #TTRPG games have custom and/or cool dice? Dice I have already: Star Wars (Fantasy Flight Games Version), The One Ring, Candela Obscura, Vaesen. Dice I know of, probably won't get: Genesys, Fudge. Looking for dice that are associated with a particular gaming system, either by the type of dice, or the style of the dice.

Behold, my first example of Andrew's First Rule of TTRPGs, which states that looking up anything related to a TTRPG will uncover another game to play:

Looked up “Sword Dream” from here:

Found this explanatory article:

which led to my looking at other posts on that website, which lead me to this review of Cloud Empress, i.e. another game to try out:

Every time I follow up on *anything* related to *any* #TTRPG topic, I…find more TTRPGs to play.

*Always*.

Gonna make that Andrew's First Rule of TTRPGs.
