I finished Compound Fracture by Andrew Joseph White today and ough. What a book. I'll be chewing on that story for a long time, I think.

Highly recommend if you like:

- thrillers
- century-old blood feuds
- rural Appalachian settings
- trans, autistic, disabled main characters
- disabled, ND and queer side characters
- strong family bonds
- strong antifascist / ACAB message
- horrible things happening to horrible people (and can handle horrible things happening to your blorbos too)
