BjoernAusGEIch habe gestern in der c't (lese diese immer in der örtlichen Bibliothek) einen Artikel zum Ladybird Browser von Mats Schoknecht gelesen. Den Artikel gibt es auch auf heise online aber hinter einer Paywall so das ich Ihn hier nicht verlinke.
Schade finde ich jedoch das kein Wort über die teilweise problematischen Einstellungen von Andreas Kling verloren wird:

Klar man kann sich jetzt darauf berufen das man einfach "nur" den technischen Aspekt beleuchten will, wenn einem das von journalistischer Seite aus reicht.

KleoFUTO are fascists. Also, I would not be surprised if they had a certain proximity with Framework, given the fascists they fund. It's a private company which produces the following pieces of software :
- FUTO Keyboard
- Immich
- GrayJay
- Live Captions
- FUTO Voice
- etc (go see their website if you want the entire list)
And this same company funds a few projects likes Signal, microG and importantly Ladybird. Ladybird is the project of Andreas Kling, a fascist friend of DHH, another fascist with a certain réputation. And this same Andreas Kling has the right to a lot of interviews and other kind of videos on the FUTO YouTube channel. Moreover, he is not the only one, there is also Lunduke, a free software YouTuber who spends his time talking about the fact that Linux is now shit because of a woke plot funded by Red Hat and IBM.
So if you didn't know, now you do, it would be great if you try at most to not use their software like we try to avoid Framework products, those people have no issue funding fascists and defending them.
FUTO ce sont des fafs. D'ailleurs, je ne serais pas surprise qu'il ait une certaine proximité avec Framework vue les fascistes qu'ils financent. C'est l'entreprise privée qui produit les logiciels suivants :

Donc voilà, maintenant pour ceux qui ne savaient pas, on essaye d'éviter au max les logiciels produit par FUTO comme on évite les Frameworks, ces gens n'ont aucun problème à financer des fafs et à les défendre.

Turns out project lead Andreas Kling has a lot of braindead public takes about pronouns, Charlie Kirk, and white replacement in tech 🤢
I'm not touching that anymore until he's replaced and they put in place a proper contribution policy and code of conduct.
That leaves us with @servo and Flow Browser as alternatives to Chrome and Firefox. (Anyone have any damning news on those? 😨 )
