ANDERMATT - "SCHNEECHAOS IN DEN ALPEN! MGB-BAHN IM AUSNAHMEZUSTAND | SCHWEIZ 2026"
On the second and last day of our ski touring eastern we ascended the Rossbodenstock, skied down to Andermatt and took the train back to our car. As expected several others ascended the same summit. But it was far from crowded. Round about 20 people on the summit. The descent to Andermatt is fairly steep (rated AD+), so there we were for ourselves again. The first part was really very rough and icy.
But afterwards we were gifted with absolutely lovely conditions. We managed to ski almost to the first houses of Andermatt.
Two really great days, well spent.
