A raven on a rusty old cannon
It was the first time I'd ever seen a raven. I was taken aback by how big it was and the macabre croaking and gulping noises it made.
Years later I learned how spooky smart these birds are. Back in the 60s one of them stole the Crown Jewels from a state-of-the-art (think James Bond-level gadgetry) security system. Nobody knew who did it for months.

Moray
Moray is a fascinating archaeological site that looks like a series of giant green amphitheaters. These circular terraces were used by the Incas as an agricultural laboratory, experimenting with different crops and microclimates. Walking down to the center feels like stepping into an ancient scientific wonder.
