🚨EL HALLAZGO QUE DEJÓ PERPLEJO AL MUNDO CIENTÍFICO.

En la selva de Costa Rica yacen más de 500 esferas de piedra casi perfectas. Algunas alcanzan los 2.6 metros de diámetro. Son lisas, simétricas… inquietantemente precisas. No parecen talladas: parecen calculadas.

Se atribuyen a la cultura Diquís, alrededor del año 600 d.C.
Un periodo donde, en teoría, no existían herramientas capaces de lograr ese nivel de exactitud.

Y ahí empieza el problema.

No se pueden fechar por carbono.
Moverlas destruye su contexto.
Y muchas ya fueron desplazadas, saqueadas o reubicadas, borrando pistas que quizá nunca volverán.

Aparecen agrupadas en sitios específicos, alineadas en algunos casos, dispersas en otros. El patrón no es claro. La intención tampoco.

¿Por qué esferas?
¿Por qué tantas?
¿Y por qué ahí?

Algunos intentan explicarlo como símbolos de poder, marcadores territoriales o estructuras ceremoniales. Otros ven algo más difícil de encajar: una obsesión por la perfección geométrica en un mundo que apenas comenzaba a dominar la piedra.

Cuanto más se estudian, menos encajan en lo esperado.

Perfectas. Silenciosas. Inexplicables.

Y todavía están ahí.

When 𝑅 is a more general relation, we have a more general form of induction, that is truly #ancestral in the language of #Whitehead and #Russell.
