Oh also, before bedtime, I just updated my banner to show the union/org I’m a member of: @nsf_iaa! 
Nothing dramatic, no rebrand, no big announcement, just me quietly doing the extremely normal thing of putting my anarcho-syndicalist union on my profile like the very normal internet person that I am.
You know, the usual routine: unions, worker self-organization, syndicalism, and the extremely controversial idea that maybe workers should run their own workplaces instead of a handful of CEOs doing it for them.
Anyway, that’s the banner update. Riveting content, I know.

I support unions that are organized and controlled by the workers themselves, the kind that operate through federated structures and direct democracy. Not the bureaucratic shells that call themselves representation while managing obedience and mediating class compromise.
I’m talking about unions that recognize workers as the real managers of production, that act through solidarity, mutual aid, and direct action, and that reject all authority claiming to speak for them. Power must stay in the hands of those who produce, not delegated to functionaries or politicians.

Why is it easier for normies to imagine the end of the world than it is to imagine an end to #Capitalism? 
Why do they equate the 2? Solve that and we might be able to move forward.
