It's 3D Saturday and something from the archive, from the lock-down era. This is a bougainvillea flower blooming in October; shot in our yard back then.

I still don't understand or can't figure out how some people deny the effects of pollution on the weather and all these catastrophic events. I mention this because I clearly remember how the lock-down significantly reduced the temperatures (in numbers as well as feeling it) specifically during summer. In a place where 50C had been the norm, during the lock-down, the temperature went down somewhere between 45-47C. Of course, it is still high according to the usual standards, but for people like us who adapted to 50C already, such lowering is significant as is; thanks to the low traffic during that period.
The lock-down lasted about 1.5 years or so, and was abandoned by the end of August 2021. I say that temperatures would have gone down further (at least down to 45C, which is way bearable for us) had the lock-down continued, or the general lifestyle changed permanently to reduce the need to drive in general 🤷🏻♂️
