It took me less than 30 minutes to add a new test asteroid to my existing #uberspace account and to set up a working #navidrome instance with this #uberlab guide: https://lab.uberspace.de/guide_navidrome/

Having to sort out all my music files from CD rips from many years ago ahead of music subscription running out. Good I kept them but you realise both the utility of someone else doing all the organisational effort on the subscription platform and the inherent limitations due to outsourcing control. Using #Navidrome in a #Docker container which is a #Subsonic API implementation. #Amperfy is the music app on iOS and works well.

lay:Sub“ erfolgreich getestet. Beide kostenpflichtig für 3,99 respektive 5,99. Beide liefen auf Anhieb und fehlerfrei. Mein Favorit ist eindeutig play:Sub mit (fast zu) großem Funktionsumfang. Kann auch Radio. Kategorisiert die Alben auch nach Jahrzehnten… 70er.. usw. Tolles Ding. #nextcloud #musicapp #mp3 #mpeg

@kaffeeringe @aoe @BjoernBeck Danke für den Hinweis! Habe das jetzt zum laufen gebracht! Man muss die Music App in der #Nextcloud aktivieren, und in deren Einstellungen „#Ampache“ aktivieren. Dort wird auch der für Amperfy benötigte Link und das Passwort erzeugt. In #Amperfy habe ich an verschiedenen Stellen noch Fehlermeldungen, aber die App hat viele Funktionen und sieht vielversprechend aus. Ich teste jetzt mal ob ich damit zurechtkomme.
