L'Iran ha avvertito che non restera' "a guardare" di fronte a quelle che definisce minacce di "crimini di guerra" da parte del presidente statunitense Donald Trump. L'ambasciatore iraniano all'Onu, Amir-Saeid Iravani, intervenendo durante una sessione del Consiglio di Sicurezza sullo stretto di Hormuz, ha invitato la comunita' internazionale a reagire "prima che sia troppo tardi" e ha ribadito che Teheran esercitera' "senza esitazione" il proprio diritto all'autodifesa, adottando "misure immediate e proporzionate" in risposta a eventuali azioni statunitensi.
Intanto Teheran ha comunicato al Pakistan di ritenere di essere in vantaggio e di disporre ancora di 15.000 missili e 45.000 droni nel proprio arsenale. Lo riferisce il Wall Street Journal citando i mediatori e una fonte a conoscenza dei fatti. I mediatori hanno affermato che tali cifre erano probabilmente esagerate ma riflettevano l'irremovibile posizione negoziale dell'Iran.

Meanwhile, Tehran has informed Pakistan that it believes it has an advantage and still possesses 15,000 missiles and 45,000 drones in its arsenal. The Wall Street Journal reports this, citing mediators and a source familiar with the matter. The mediators said these figures were likely exaggerated but reflected Iran’s unyielding negotiating position.
