Took me a minute to check everything before I dared powering it on. I am incredibly relieved it just works (at least to the point it shows the Kickstart screen). Phew. #Amiga3000T #A3000T #Amiga #Commodore #RetroComputing #VintageComputing

The main reason I put so much work into restoring the #Amiga3000T is to play Roguecraft DX on it, of course.

(Right after playing some Turrican.)

Not today though, I should probably get some sleep before I continue the restoration. ;)

More progress on the #Amiga3000T. I think I managed to fix all the missing connections, re-sealed the board and put the FPU back in. Needs some more cleaning up and some double and triple checking and then it’s going to be time for a first smoke test.
The #Amiga3000T restoration continues. Successfully pulled the 68882 FPU and cleaned up the corrosion underneath. Still some traces to fix and vias to bridge but I have high hopes that it’s going to boot at some point. #InTheLabDoingStuff

New video! Neutralizing and removing the battery leakage and corrosion from the A3000T board and the expansion cards that came with it.
