  • Even if you ain't a regime like Russia and China who decide to mandate their own, domestic competition to be used domestically (in this case: Mir & UnionPay respectably)…
    • Cuz the US regime is known to nilly-willy commit economic murder on people just becaise they dislike them or their employers. Not because they did something wrong/illegal in their juristiction!

  • Sondern es bedarf einer Lösung die nicht reines "Souveränitätswashing" alla Mir & UnionPay sondern echte Konkurrenz und Unabhängigkeit von AMEX, VISA, MasterCard & PayPal.

Oh AMEX.

I got an email this week from AMEX. It looked like a phishing email. Even the sender's domain wasn't just the americanexpress.com domain, it was emailamericanexress.com.

The email was legit, they wanted me to call the number on the email. I looked up a different number, it was about money wired to me that wasn't accepted. Perhaps this could have been a message on the portal?

Also, they offered to record my voice as a password. I mentioned that this was awful security.
