In the last 5 weeks I have managed to see 9 movies so I am writing a 2 part post.

Part 1

1995s #Friday
Ice Cube and Chris Tucker. Didn't like, didn't hate it. Funny but not that funny.

1995s #Heat
Pacino, De Niro and Val Kilmer. This ticked along nicely, the action was slick but the real treat was watching Pacino and De Niro on screen together for a scant few minutes. It looks so relaxed, no ego is trying to out act the other.

1990s #EdwardScissorhands
Oh this was a treat as I am a huge fan of Tim Burton's work and had surprisingly never seen this movie. The acting was subtle (it didn't need to be over the top) and it was like a storybook come to life!

2023s #AmericanFiction
Jeffrey Wright and Sterling K. Brown deserved their Oscar nominations for this movie. I thought it was an well written satire on art and entertainment.

1956s #AKissBeforeDying
Starring a very young Joanne Woodward and very young and blindingly handsome Robert Wagner. She gets pregnant and without batting an eyelash, he's up to his neck in subterfuge and murder. Then he moves on to her sister.....Deliciously campy film noir
