I am incensed. Back in 2020, a man shot and killed Garrett Foster, who at the time was protecting a BLM protest in Texas. The man who shot him was convicted and sentenced to 25 years in prison for the murder.
Yesterday, in a process that lasted just 2 hours, Governor Greg Abbott pardoned Foster's killer.
This is the very embodiment of what BLM was protesting: clearly, some lives matter more than others. #NoJusticeNoPeace #BLM #InstitutionalRacism #AmericanApartheid
