Last night: exactly twenty years and a day since I last saw them, caught American Analog Set and twas like they never left. Great set last night of entrancing indie rock, steady rhythms and dreamy instrumentation. Always loved their use of vibraphone, and to experience it again last night... They were definitely ahead of their time. And also time goes fast! A good one at Pioneer Works.

Side note: show was billed as an "immersive experience" which was... Not the case. Still great!

This is the 2nd of the first three albums included in the set; more lo-fi goodness and hypnotic repeated musical phrases.

Remastered, given an excellent flat/silent pressing and packaging…this is the black version because *just say no to colored vinyl* (split colors are often noisy, too).
