‘Weens’ burootje betrokken bij beoordeling haalbaarheidsstudies nieuwe kerncentrales
Herinnert u het zich nog? september 2020: VVD minister Wiebes die, na een serie hem onwelgevallig kernenergierapporten die concludeerden dat nieuwe kerncentrales in Nederland onrealistisch zijn, een Weens burootje bereid vond een voor hem prettig rapport bij elkaar te sprokkelen over de kosten van nieuwe kerncentrales in Nederland. Een rapport dat verder helemaal niemand serieus nam. De naam van dat bureau, een aantal mensen afkomstig uit de nucleaire industrie, waaronder een oud-directeur van kerncentrale Borssele, was ENCO. Dat bureau is nu door VVD minister Hermans betrokken bij de beoordeling van de technische haalbaarheidsstudies – besteld bij de drie mogelijke leveranciers - voor twee nieuwe kerncentrales. Het Amerikaans Amentum is hoofdcontractant, en wordt door een aantal andere bureaus bijgestaan, waaronder dus het 'Weense' ENCO.
