While Sacha and the grandchildren were watching a silly, noisy, dinosaur film on television I put my Amateur Radio radio on and had a lot of contacts across Europe on the 60 metre band using FT8.
Three new countries on this band for me - Kosovo, Kazakhstan & Ireland (Co Meath).

Not a nice fresh at EI7M today.

Went into the "EXTRA" CW #MorseCode portion of 20 meters to hunt. I get so excited using #QRP to get #DX. #AmateuRadio #HamRadio #POTA #parksontheair

I've got a question for #Hamradio / #Amateuradio folks who are also into #FT8.

When calling CQ running #QRP in FT8 and I want to specify that I'm running QRP, what is the "proper" format for the CQ message? Should it be "CQ QRP <callsign> <gridsquare>" or "CQ <callsign>/QRP <gridsquare>"?

For 40 minutes, this is how my #MorseCode CW #POTA #parksontheair activation sounded this morning. I LOVE this sound. #AmateuRadio #HamRadio
