So, I know you were all on tenterhooks about whether or not I found the book I was looking for on 22/11/2023 (previous toot!). The suggestions that came in gave me quite a few nice nights of reading, and a couple that interested my kid. Thank you all for those.
However, none of them were the right one.
So today... I'm migrating all my digital photos from the random collections I have on an assortment of disks into a locally hosted photo server, and I see a photo of a (talking) book cover. I don't recognise it, so I wonder what the book is about and I look it up... It was THE BOOK!
