One of my favourite wild flowers is Red Campion. I’ve taken inspiration from some Red Campion flowers, which have a variety of shades of pink, and have stretched that theme to pinks, purples and purplish-blue to make up a sash.

I was experimenting with some digital art techniques on a photograph and came across this effect. I thought it would look particularly pleasing if I applied it to some flowers. With my white background I have vibrant blue and lilac coloured lilies. These are a digitally modified photograph.

This very vibrant and striking image is of lilies standing on a lush lava background. I have used digital art techniques to recolour the lilies so they are almost blue, with the stamens appearing in the same colour as the background.
