For #WaterfallWednesday, I wanted to show you #Magdeburg's own "Cracau waterfall" (yes, this is the official name with #Cracau being the name of the district 😄), which, of course, is not a real waterfall, but a small #weir on a cut-off meander of the #Elbe river that controls the water level of the regular Elbe.
As you can see, with the ongoing #drought, only a pitiful amount of water trickles through the small sluice in the middle. 😞 Photo was taken on Sunday
