Arlette, Abondance, Amsel, Amandine e Abeille sono state sistemate in un recinto temporaneo proprio davanti alla scuola. Per rendere l’iscrizione formale, i loro nomi sono stati inseriti in un modulo regolarmente depositato nella cassetta delle lettere dell'istituto. Le "nuove alunne" sono state messe a disposizione da un allevatore locale che siede anche nel consiglio comunale.
I numeri della crisi scolastica
L’iniziativa nasce dalla necessità di raggiungere il numero minimo di iscritti previsto per legge. Attualmente, per il prossimo anno scolastico risultano registrati 66 bambini alle elementari e 30 alla scuola dell'infanzia. "Ci mancano solo quattro alunni per evitare il taglio di una delle cinque classi", ha spiegato il primo cittadino, sottolineando il rischio concreto di un ridimensionamento dell'offerta educativa nel villaggio.
L'ironia per attirare l'attenzione delle istituzioni
"Abbiamo giocato con l'assurdo e la provocazione fino in fondo", ha dichiarato all’agenzia di stampa Afp il sindaco José Schruoffeneger, ex insegnante di scuola media. L'idea di registrare le manze è nata quasi per scherzo durante un confronto su come colmare simbolicamente il vuoto lasciato dalla mancanza di iscritti.

"Siamo chiaramente nel campo dell'umorismo goliardico," ha ammesso il sindaco, "ma da stamattina il telefono non smette di squillare".
