Third and finally, the RX-78 Gundam. An entirely new armor technology, taking the Federated Suns into a new era, and a new take on omnimechs, utilizing hand-held weaponry that can be changed out on the fly during battle. The brand new plasma swords take melee combat into a new realm unimaginable when NAIS invented the mech hatchet. The weapons can optionally be used on the Guncannon as well!

Secondly, the RX-77 Guncannon, the first attempt at several systems. An improved Thumper Cannon in each side torso does strong work. It is an experiment in a mech that can take cover like a vehicle, but still use the elevated shoulder cannons to fire above terrain that makes it almost impossible to hit. It was not entirely successful, but it was more than succesful enough.

The New Avalon Institute of Science has been up to some real bullshit. The absolute "legends" that gave us the Hatchetman clearly were not in charge of this project, producing first the RX-75 Guntank, a monster with the durability of a mech, the stability of a tank, and all the ammo demands you could ever want, with a pair of gauss rifles and a pair of RAC-5s.

Three layers over the blue. neutral gray 5, neutral gray 2, and titanium white, in varying areas based on shading, so I had to start from the bottom and work my way up.
On the other hand, it all came out looking really fucking good, imo, so I'll take it.
