I have a long-lingering #DataViz query that I still haven't resolved in a way I'm happy with. I have 2-dimensions of #CategoricalData over time that I'd like to #visualize, plus the (time-varying, statistical) association between them. I can compute all the information fine, it's just how to clearly present these 4 elements in a digestible way.

For any single panel, #MosaicPlots work for the associations. We've used color-scaled #AlluvialFlows before, but I'm still not satisfied w/the result.
