Scored a 3-tier letter/legal-size shelf in oh-so-basic avocado, three legal-pads in their wrapping still unopened, and a copy of 'The Kite Runner' by Khaled Hosseini which has long been on my list. Had to pass up some good stuff for the Nara lamp taking up the whole of my hiking backpack.
If you're moving tomorrow and overwhelmed by all the stuff you need to get rid of, please consider:
-Donate thoughtfully!!!! Avoid Savers/Salvo/Goodwill. Many orgs can get your items directly to people who need it, like shelters/drop-ins/etc, rather than making a profit off of what could be free.
-Put unopened food in yr local community fridge(s)!
-Post stuff on the "Free" section of Craigslist, Buy Nothing Groups, etc
-Or simply curb what yr neighbors might find useful. Bring the spirit of #AllstonChristmas to wherever you happen to be...
