Johannesburg, South Africa :The 27th edition of the SA Style Awards sparkled under the stars this past weekend, wrapping up another iconic year of style, flair, and trailblazing business talent. Held at the stylish Hyde Park Corner where the red carpet was hosted by The House of BNG , followed by a spectacular awards ceremony hosted by the comedic broadcaster Alan Ford and the ever stylish and beautiful Vanessa Carreira-Coutroulis and floating dinner party at the iconic Southern Sun Hyde Park Hotel, the evening dazzled from start to finish.

The SA Style Awards guest list featured some of Africa’s finest — including blue-chip sponsors, business elites, influential figures, and prominent media personalities, as well as a sprinkling of gate crashers and this year’s honourees in attendance, the event lived up to its glittering theme: “All That Glitters.” Red carpet arrivals were nothing short of breathtaking, as South Africa’s most stylish turned out in sequins, metallics, and couture that commanded attention.

Star Power on the Red Carpet

The night belonged to both seasoned icons and fresh faces. Mia Le Roux exuded elegance in a gown that turned heads, while the ever-radiant Thembi Seete lit up the carpet in a vibrant, high-fashion ensemble. Sophie Ndaba was all warmth and charm, drawing admirers with her signature smile. Rising style star Li Chi Pan stunned in an avant-garde look that cemented her status as a fashion risk-taker.

Actress Nobuhle Mahlasela impressed in a sleek modern silhouette, and hip-hop star Gigi Lamayne sashayed by with confidence and charisma. Other standouts included Tamara DeyBuhle SamuelsKim JaydeNicole Capper, Kayla Neilson, and Ayanda G Thabethe, all embodying the spirit of SA style.

As the night unfolded, the energy was electric. Guests enjoyed a one-of-a-kind floating dinner party, complete with flowing bubbles, elegant ambiance, and golden conversation. The awards ceremony itself was filled with heartfelt speeches, laughter, and standing ovations — a celebration not just of what people wear, but of how they inspire.
