Sam Liccardo has excellent accomplishments to show- dense towers and walkable downtown, Net Zero Carbon buildings by 2030, programs for homeless including tiny homes and bridge interim housing, adopted builders option for the housing element, separated bike lane network, 15mph zones around schools, ended parking minimums and LOS, started San Jose Clean Energy, fierce and leading critic of PG&E in the state, begun process for microgrid downtown for 25,000 new residents, #15minuteneighborhoods (71), liability insurance requirement for gun owners, and brought money and program to preserve Coyote Valley. Still needs to work on Jobs Housing Balance, social housing, speed cameras, youth employment, and high speed public broadband. Best examples- two single family homes downtown will be replaced by a 600 unit tower with almost no parking and buying the transmission line for the microgrid.
