Ok I worked too many hours today, and now I’m ready for another day off. Happy Independence Day USA! I’m glad you’re here, and I’m blessed to have the day off paid. I love hiring new staff when it’s their FIRST EVER paid day off. I remind them, “you get to hang out and do whatever you want or nothing at all and you’re getting paid!” Holidays are so important for my mental health. ❤️
So grateful to work for an employer with decent paid vacation, plus 6 floating holidays and 2 weeks increasing vacation (each year you accrue more). This is an excellent deal for US nonprofit employers. #Alhamdulilah
