Have you ever had BuzzBallz?

My wife and I were fascinated by them as these tiny little bottles with 15% alcohol by volume.

So, we snagged two of them. I'll talk about both.

Watermelon Chiller - It is an orange wine based drink, but it does not taste like wine. It tastes like artificial watermelon. Not my thing, but my wife liked it.

Berry Cherry Limeade - You know all those blue drinks like Gatorade, or freeze pops that are some good blue flavor that is unclear what it is. This is it - plus vodka. You can taste both flavors. I liked it. Would drink again.

So, after having the Smirnoff Ice Smash Screwdriver, I decided to try another flavor.

I went with the Red, White, and Berry, cause why not. Cherry, blue raspberry lemonade sounds like a solid flavor combo.

Thoughts? Meh. The flavor was subtle and boring, with some hints of berry...sometimes. It was less flavorful all around than the Screwdriver one.

Not going to try this one again.

Recently at the liquor store, I saw Smirnoff Ice Smashes in tall cans that had double the alcohol content of a standard Smirnoff Ices. So, I was in.

Snagged me a can of their "Screwdriver Ice."

Thoughts? It's good. It's very good. It's an orange flavored drink, tastes pretty much the same as their standard Screwdriver Ice which I already loved.

Would get again.

Well, it's been a week since I added the Werther's Originals to vodka. And what was the result??

It's caramel. It's alcoholic caramel. Like, that's all you can taste. A ton of caramel. That's not a bad thing, it'd be great added to something like a coffee or a milkshake to add a little caramel flavoring.

Hey folks - I'm putting circus peanuts and Werther's Originals in separate containers of vodka for a week...

...Or until something interesting happens.

I set these up on Saturday, so will check back this Saturday.

For the record, my wife has already checked in on the Werther's in vodka and has given it a big seal of approval. We'll see after a full week...

Which infusion do you think will work best? Or do you think they'll both be amazing / awful?

In my further attempts at moving my pics from Pixelfed to Mastodon, here's some Mike's Hard Freezes.

I tried all four varieties at this point, so let's break them down and why they're all pretty mid.

Red Freeze - Imagine one of those red ice pops and then add in cranberry for no reason.

White Freeze - You know orange creamsicles? Imagine a lemonade creamsicle with too much vanilla.

Pink Freeze - Think underwhelming pink lemonade and you're on track.

Blue Freeze - Think an attempt to make blue raspberry flavored stuff after not having tasted it in like a decade.
